A night of Stand Up Comedy showcasing the best talent in Australia and launching the next generation of comedians to come out of Logan.
For one night only, local and international acts will converge on the Kingston Butter Factory bringing the laughs and something different. We will also conclude our search for the latest upcoming comedy stars of Logan as they get their first chance in front of a comedy audience.
Hosted by the ABC’s Craig Quartermaine along with a line up of comedy stars from around the country. Come see the biggest and funniest line up to hit Logan.
CRAIG QUARTERMAINE
Craig is a Comedian, Journalist, Writer, Radio and TV Presenter, originally from WA now based out of Brisbane.
As a Journalist Craig has covered Indigenous affairs for the ABC , NITV, SBS and Triple J’s HACK program.
As a Comedian Craig has appeared on Comedy Central’s “The Jim Jefferies Show” Triple J’s One Night Stand Up and now co-host of “Movin to the Country” on ABC TV. Craig has worked with international acts like Hannibal Burress, Naseem Hussain and Jim Jefferies and was a 2016 National RAW finalist. He has performed around the world with Edinburgh award-winning comedian Brendon Burns in their acclaimed show “Race Off” having performed at the Sydney and Melbourne International Comedy Festivals. Craig’s politically charged, socially conscious comedy has taken him across the world and doesn’t take a backward step.

TING LIM Singaporean-born Ting Lim is a stand up comedian, writer and actor of Chinese heritage based in Australia. Her dry sarcastic observations have endeared her to audiences since she represented Queensland in the prestigious Melbourne International RAW comedy competition. Since then, she has toured sold-out comedy shows across Australia and opened for Marty Sheargold, Demetri Martin and Beth Stelling. She has been featured on the award-winning show, Fisk and written for television.

ANISA NANDAULA Anisa is a globally loved online comedian with over 50 million views on her comedy content and 200k followers. She has toured Australia making people belly laugh all over the country. She has shared comedy on SBS and performed her poetry on ABC, Channel 10 and at the Sydney Opera House. She is a nationally recognised spoken word poet, playwright, educator and published author. She is the 2016 Queensland poetry slam champion and runner up for the Australian Poetry Slam championships. She won the XYZ Innovation in Spoken Word Prize and performed poetry at the Sydney Opera House.

SAMI SHAH Pakistani-Australian comedian Sami Shah has won the Best Local Act at the Perth International Comedy Festival, and Best Comedy at Fringe World. He’s performed multiple sold-out runs at comedy festivals across Australia, as well as in London’s Soho Theatre. Sami has released multiple standup comedy albums, available on iTunes, Spotify, and anywhere else you listen to comedy albums these days, and also appeared on QI with Stephen Fry.
