During your visit

For some students this may be their first experience with live theatre. For many, this can be very exciting and we want you and your students, as well as all the other patrons coming to the theatre, to have the best theatre experience possible. If it is likely that your students are unfamiliar with general theatre etiquette (or even if they are and might need reminding) we strongly suggest going over it with them in preparation for your excursion, and discussing why the following things are important:

  1. Mobile phones should be switched off whilst in the theatre.
  2. Food or drink is allowed into performances, but should be consumed discreetly and all rubbish should be disposed of in the bins provided. Refreshments are available at our kiosk.
  3. Responding to and interacting with the performers on stage in an appropriate way is encouraged, but talking loudly during inappropriate moments or in ways that may disturb other patrons is strongly discouraged.
