Artist in Residence: Louise Wheatley

During her residency, artist Louise Wheatley will venture into Logan’s wetlands, parks, and urban landscapes to capture the vibrant sights and sounds of our region’s birdlife. Using these evocative video and audio recordings, she will create a captivating sound installation that runs throughout the Where do I belong? exhibition and visual content for the Birds of Australia STORYBOX. Louise’s work will forge an inspiring connection between visitors, Logan Art Gallery, the Logan Entertainment Centre, and the birds that bring our city to life. Audiences will be invited to experience Logan from a fresh, immersive, and poetic perspective.
