My Conversation with Lichen and the Stars
Stephan de Wit
Using video projections and photo prints, Loganholme artist Stephan de Wit presents a video installation of a live performance. The work showcases the connection between lichen and the formation of stars, using the science of spectroscopy.
New Acquisitions
A selection of works from the Logan Art Gallery collection acquired since 2015. This exhibition is designed to coincide with the launch of the third volume of the Logan Art Collection catalogue Acquisitions 2016 to 2024. The exhibition will also launch a series of collection displays that will feature in the Logan Art Gallery foyer throughout 2025 to celebrate 30 years since the opening of the gallery.
Two Birds
Kristy Ann Duffy and Toni Bielby
An exhibition of works by 2 artists who share a passion for telling the stories of birds through their art. Toni Bielby’s expressive bird sculptures are complemented by Kristy Ann Duffy’s bold and colourful paintings. This exhibition features birds from South East Queensland, particularly those that can be spotted around the Logan area.
