School holiday workshop: Clay work with Nancy Brown and F.S. Helfisch

Long term collaborators F.S. Helfisch and Nancy Brown create a new installation at Logan Art Gallery that explores their shared interest in decorative pattern-making to reconcile everyday experiences with art. Be inspired by their work and join the artists for a plaster casting workshop.
At this workshop participants will explore making impressions in clay with found objects and casting the forms with plaster of paris. The cast objects can then be painted fresco style or left as an embossed surface.
