Love Logan Community Art Exhibition
Logan Art Gallery invites residents of Logan to paint a small picture of the favourite thing they love about the city. The paintings will be presented in the Logan Art Gallery foyer from 18 July – 6 Sept 2025 to celebrate the Gallery’s 30-year anniversary.
FAQ
How old do I need to be?
Love Logan is open to everyone, there is no age restriction.
How much does it cost to register?
Love Logan is a free community project, it costs nothing to participate. You will receive a free 20 x 20 cm canvas board to work on using your own paints or other picture making mediums.
Do I need to paint my artwork, or can I use other mediums such as pencil, pen or anything else?
Your artwork can be made in any way you like but needs to be able to be hung on a wall and stay within the 20 x 20 cm frame of the canvas board.
Do I need to use the supplied canvas board?
Yes, all exhibitors need to use the supplied canvas board. This is to make the final exhibition look amazing.
How and where do I get my free canvas board?
During the registration process you can nominate a Logan Library or Art Gallery to collect your canvas board from. Simply pop in and show them your confirmation email to receive the canvas.
When do I need to collect my canvas by?
Canvases can be collected from your nominated location until June 2nd.
How many paintings can I make?
One painting per registration only.
How long do I have to create my masterpiece?
Artwork needs to be delivered to Logan Art Gallery between June 24th and July 1st.
When do I need to pick up my canvas?
After the exhibition, you’ll need to collect your artwork from the gallery between the 12th and 19th September.
