Love Logan 2 invites Logan residents to share what they love about our city through art.

Following the success of the first exhibition, Logan Art Gallery is once again bringing together artworks that celebrate the people, places, cultures, memories and experiences that make Logan special. Whether you’re an emerging artist, hobbyist or experienced creative, we’d love to see your unique perspective.

Participation is free and open to Logan residents of all ages and skill levels.

FAQs

Who can participate?

Love Logan 2 is open to Logan residents of all ages and artistic experience levels.

What kind of artwork can I be submitted?

We welcome a range of creative media including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, textiles, mixed media and digital art – as long as it fits within the boundary of your 20x20cm canvas.

Does my artwork need to be about Logan?

Yes. Artworks should respond to the theme ‘Love Logan’ and reflect what you value, enjoy or appreciate about the city.

Is there a cost to participate?

No, participation is free.

What happens after I register?

You can collect your free canvas from your preferred venue from 12 September-23 December 2026. Completed works must be delivered to Logan Art Gallery from 5 January-16 January 2027.

How long will my work be on display?

Works submitted for Love Logan 2 will be on loan for one year. They will be on display at Logan Art Gallery from Saturday 30 January through Saturday 3 April 2027. After this, works will be displayed at various venues across Logan City Council. Participants will be invited to collect their works from Logan Art Gallery in early 2028.

Additional terms and conditions

Delivery of artworks
- Artists will deliver their works to Logan Art Gallery between Tuesday 5 January – Saturday 16 January 2027 during opening hours. Artworks delivered outside of this timeframe will not be accepted.
- Artists will ensure artworks are clearly labelled with their full name on the back of the canvas for crediting purposes.

Use of artwork images:
- By submitting an artwork to this exhibition, artists grant Logan City Council permission to use images of the artwork for promotional, sales, archival, and exhibition purposes.
- We will credit artists by name whenever displaying images of an individual artwork.
Unclaimed artwork:
- Artwork will be on loan for a period of 1 year following the exhibition opening date (29 January 2027) and will be displayed at various Logan City Council venues during that year. Artists will be invited to collect their works from Logan Art Gallery in early 2028. Logan Art Gallery reserves the right to dispose of unclaimed artworks after a reasonable period, if deemed necessary.
