30-plus years. 10 albums and rising. One just being together.
Pop goes the culture! Like a stun to the head, it leaves one careering across the highway of a never-ending proliferation of pop cultural detritus… strewn across the repetitive landscape of your mind with blips and beeps and repetitive phases. All infused with the exuberance of Regurgitator’s mashed-up motion of rock, punk, electro, funk, pop, wherever it goes vibes.
Forming late ‘93 in Brisbane, core members Quan Yeomans and Ben Ely set off on a malformed trajectory of numerous EPs and albums recorded in idiosyncratic scenarios: including TU-PLANG (1996) in the jungle outskirts of Bangkok; the pixel-obsessed 80s jolt of UNIT (1997); and the recent cultural coloniser that is INVADER (2024). The past has trekked them live across Australia, NZ, Japan, the UK, Europe, the USA, Asia, and the Middle East, as much as an incessant barrage of festivals; tours with Boredoms, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Helmet, The Melvins, and Weezer. Latest expedition to the peak mountain of sounds – 2024: heard the invasive notions of INVADER… now joined by Sarah Lim on keytar/guitar.
After 32 years of touring all over the place, Regurgitator earlier this year completed one of the largest tours they have embarked upon – JUKEBOXXIN’ – with a fistful of fizzers 2025/2026 retrospective singles tour – 51 shows running over a 6-month timeframe, playing to approx 22,000 of decades-dedicated fans across Australia and New Zealand. What a stunning endurance test of accomplishment thus far into an ever-unfolding anarchic machine of musical fantasy they have flown forever in a dream through, with the gracious, loving support of their eternal exaltation of fans – with their ever-flowing, enthusiastic committedness.

Since their inception in 2002, Butterfingers have proven time and time again to be one of Australia’s most successful independent acts and greatest live performers, having released all their own material on their ‘Valley Trash’ label (now ‘Bewilderbeats’) and performing at nearly every major festival this country has ever seen. From early in their career, they built a reputation on their energetic & eclectic live shows that crossed genres and blurred boundaries, drawing from Hip Hop, Punk, Reggae, Drum & Bass, Stoner Rock, Electronica and just about anything that makes you want to shake your bones, into a cohesive mash-up all of their own creation.
Screamfeeder continue to celebrate their 35th year with special shows in Logan. Some bands don’t need hype or TikTok campaigns; they just do what bands do: make records, tour, and play solid sets of songs beloved to their fans. It’s about designing a lifestyle, and a life, built around creating music and writing songs, and the unique life-blood moments that occur when people briefly come together in a room to celebrate them. Screamfeeder are in their fourth decade. They won’t be around forever, but they’re still alive and still kicking as hard as ever. Experience the magic this November.
