Artist in Residence: Mary Elizabeth Barron

As part of her residency, Mary Elizabeth Barron led a series of vibrant, hands-on community workshops across Logan Libraries, Logan Art Gallery, and the Living Museum of Logan. Participants transformed reused soft plastics into beautifully crafted individual feathers, each one a unique expression of creativity and sustainability.

These feathers will come together in a stunning collaborative artwork: a single, giant feather assembled by the artist herself. This powerful symbol of unity and environmental consciousness will be installed on the façade of Logan Art Gallery, becoming a striking visual centrepiece for the Where do I belong? exhibition.
