Friday 23 October, 7.30 pm
July 13th, 1985 – a global audience of over 1.9 billion… two massive concerts…
One game-changing, record-breaking event called LIVE AID!
Now, four decades on, the spirit of LIVE AID is reborn and revived in this spectacular 2-hour concert experience. With salutes to megastars like Paul McCartney, Elton John, Madonna, Eric Clapton, Phil Collins, Mick Jagger, Tina Turner, Patti Labelle, Kiki Dee, Bryan Adams and David Bowie, as well as hits from iconic bands including The Who, Dire Straits, Status Quo, U2, Spandau Ballet, INXS, and The Boomtown Rats, PLUS Queen’s earth-shattering set in its entirety.
This tribute to the music of Live Aid is created by internationally renowned showman Thomas Armstrong-Robley, who leads the show directly from performances in over 40 countries. Joining Armstrong-Robley is an acclaimed cast of high-octane Australian vocalists and his world-class Rock & Roll Retrospective band who deliver first-rate musicianship on hit after legendary hit and are “rhythmically, melodically and energetically perfect!”
“Filled to the brim with killer vocals, tight-knit band and a rockin’ atmosphere.”
Don’t miss your chance to journey back in time and catch this action-packed tribute to one of the most significant moments in pop culture history.
