New acquisitions
A Logan Art Gallery Collection exhibition

New Acquisitions is a selection of artworks from the Logan Art Gallery collection acquired since 2015. This exhibition will span the majority of the Gallery’s main exhibition spaces and foyer and provide a good overview of the pieces collected during that time. The works will feature in the Gallery’s third volume of catalogues titled Acquisitions 2016 to 2024. New Acquisitions will also launch a series of collection displays in the Logan Art Gallery foyer throughout 2025 to celebrate 30 years since the opening of the gallery.

My conversations with lichen and the stars
Stephan de Wit van der Merwe

Using video projections and photo prints, Loganholme artist Stephan de Wit van der Merwe presents an immersive installation and live performance. The work showcases the connection between lichen and the formation of stars, using the science of spectroscopy.

A tale of two birds
Kristy Ann Duffy and Toni Bielby

An exhibition of works by 2 artists who share a passion for telling the stories of birds through their art. Toni Bielby’s expressive bird sculptures are complemented by Kristy Ann Duffy’s bold and colourful paintings. This exhibition features birds from South East Queensland, particularly those that can be spotted around the Logan area.

Conversation with nature
Ronelle Reid

An exhibition of new paintings by Cedar Vale artist Ronelle Reid inspired by community responses to the question
‘If you could talk to animals, what would you say?’
