Volunteer Information Morning: Mayes Cottage

Are you thinking about volunteering in your community and interested in local history?

Join us for our volunteer’s information morning at Mayes Cottage Historical House Museum.

Mayes Cottage is a heritage listed building and is significant to the history of Logan. You’ll have the opportunity to meet our dedicated team and current volunteers and learn how volunteering can help preserve and promote our rich heritage.

Volunteers at Mayes Cottage get to experience many facets of the volunteer program including visitor experience tours, educational excursions, events and basic collection maintenance. We encourage anyone who has been thinking about volunteering, has some time on their free hands or wants to give back to the community comes down to have a chat! No experience is required, and light refreshments will be served.
