Our birds through art Exhibition
Artists are invited to submit an Expression of Interest for the exhibition, Our birds through art, at The Line & Rail Artspace, a new contemporary artspace located on John Lane, Beenleigh.
Our birds through art explores the beauty and fragility of Australia’s native birdlife, inspiring both reflection and action toward a more sustainable future. This exhibition brings together a collection of small-scale works and complements the Where Do I Belong? exhibition at Logan Art Gallery, on view throughout July and August 2026.
Eligibility
This opportunity is open to Logan‑based creatives or creatives with a strong link to Logan.
Submission Requirements
Artists may submit:
- Up to three (3) images of existing artworks
- Artworks must be no larger than 100 × 100 cm (a metre square)
- All 2D artworks must have appropriate D rings attached
- All mediums considered
Please include:
- Artist name
- Artwork title(s), medium(s), dimensions and year
- A brief 1-page artist CV
- A short statement about the submitted work(s) or your interest in Our birds through art (optional)

The Line & Rail Artspace champions local stories, creative experimentation and accessible, place‑based artistic practice. We welcome submissions from emerging and established artists and encourage works that respond to place, movement and connection.

How old do I need to be?
This is open to everyone; there is no age restriction.
How much does it cost to register?
This is a free community project; it costs nothing to participate.
What do I need to provide
Image files for up to 3 photographs. We recommend image quality of 300dpi. All photo-files must be in jpeg format and not larger than 10MB.
How many photographs can I submit?
Three images per registration only.
