Each year Logan Art Gallery selects one of the outstanding young artists who exhibited in the annual Artwaves: Logan and adjacent areas secondary schools art exhibition. Through mentoring, the young artist develops their own solo exhibition for the Young Peoples Gallery. This year’s exhibiting artist is Xin Weng, whose work explores the shared human experience beneath layers of identity. Drawing on classical sculpture and mythology, Xin brings historical and cultural references into conversation to reflect on connection, individuality, and what unites us across time and place.
